Don't I Dare...

Come down with a cold! I woke up this morning with the sniffles and it has gotten progressively worse throughout the day. I now have a sore throat, headache/migraine, sore muscles and a slight increase in body temperature...

Tonight, it will be all about the drugs!

I Leave Monday

For the past 7.5 months, I have been saying I leave for Germany in January. OR I leave for Germany in four months. OR I leave in six weeks. OR I leave in two weeks. I finally can say I leave Monday. There is no more cardinal reference in front of my timeframe. It is on Monday, less than a week from now.

I am ready to depart. Everything has been purchased and decided. All I have to do is pack. That is for what Sundays are made....

UPS, Part 3...The Final Chapter

My Magellan order arrived today...the last of the bunch! It included my power adapter so, I can now use all of my electronic devices while I am away. Well not all of them... After reading the instructions, I found out that my rechargeable battery adapter is too low of a power to use with it. So, I will just have to bring along real batteries... Even still, I am EXCITED!!!

15 Degrees

Today when I woke up, it was 15 degrees... a little bit colder than what it has been in Munich. I figured what a better day to test out my warm weather gear! Let's see how this goes....

I have already been reading my Rick Steves' book for about seven months so, it is nice to have a new insight....

Especially since my new book told me about the Bavaria Filmatelier, which features a life size Falkor from The NeverEnding Story, that you can ride! How cool is that?!?!

UPS, Part 2

My Rick Steves' order was supposed to be here on December 31, but it arrived today. It included my very sexy money belt! Hot Mama I am!

Zwei Wochen (2 Weeks)

It is getting so close. I feel so ready yet, so unprepared. I have worried about almost everything about which I could worry. At this moment, I have none. In five minutes, that could be completely different.

My packing list and itinerary are 99% complete. I just have a few more items on which to decide.

Tomorrow, I hope to complete my shopping.
